How many mg of Glutathione is ISHIN?

Note that ISHIN is not a Glutathione product. It is a whitening supplement.

With ISHIN it is not a question of how many mg of Glutathione is in the product. Glutathione is not highly absorbable in the body. Even if you take so much milligrams most of it is just flushed down the toilet.

Ishin is bioavailable. Meaning it is easily absorbed for three reasons:

1. It uses a FREE form glutathione. This mean once it enters the body the free form glutathione is easily broken down and enters the blood stream.
2. N-Acetylcysteine (NAC) is a precursor of Glutathione. When ingested orally NAC boosts Glutathione levels.^[12][13
3. Studies have shown that pearl powder is a potent antioxidant and boosts glutathione by more than 50%.^[9][10]. 

Can I take this with birth control pills?

Oral contraceptives is not going to be as effective and thus the risk of becoming pregnant is higher. [ScienceDirect]

I have PCOS. Is this safe?

NAC considerably increased both ovulation and pregnancy rates in women with CC-resistant PCOS. It has insulin sensitizing effect that could assist in issues related to PCOS. [NCBI]

Can pregnant and lactating women take this?

The formulation is tested and is safe for general consumption. While this is okay in most cases it is still best to consult the doctor if you are pregnant or lactating.

What age can we start taking the supplement?

Ideally 16 and above.

When is it best taken?

Best taken when the stomach is empty for maximum absorption. 30 minutes before breakfast and before sleeping.

Ideal Dosage?

2 capsules per day. One 30 minutes before breakfast and one before sleeping. For faster whitening maximum of 4 capsules per day.

When do I expect results?

Each person is unique and each skin type and skin shade is different. Results varies per person. This also depends on the number of capsules you are taking per day. There are visible results on clients with 1 to 2 bottles. However for clients who want drastic results 4 to 8 bottles is recommended.

Why does ISHIN have a foul smell?

Glutathione is a biologically active sulfur tripeptide. The more authentic the product the more it has that sulfuric smell (frequently compared to rotten eggs). Sulfur is the reason glutathione is so good at binding toxins.

Why doesn’t my ISHIN bottle have that rotten egg smell?

New production batches doesn’t have that foul smell because the dessicant absorbs it. The foul smell starts to occur 2 to 3 weeks and beyond.
